Extended Range
What sets Kreischer Optics line of transmission spheres
apart is that most are designed for extended range to allow measuring larger
radius convex surfaces.
For example, most F/1.5 TS have a reference
radius of 121mm, which is, therefore, the maximum convex radius which can be
measured.
Our F/1.5 TS has a reference radius of 142.7mm, 18%
longer.
In addition, we offer many F-numbers not offered by
other companies, “Filling in the gaps”.

at Kreischer Optics, Ltd. in McHenry, Illinois.
Metal components and optical coatings obtained from quality US
vendors.
Performance
Reference element of low expansion fused
silica, R ~
4%, for best metrology on test optics with R ≤ 40%.
