Extended Range Transmission Spheres
Kreischer Optics is proud to announce their complete line of 4.0” diameter transmission spheres for Fizeau interferometers. To increase versatility and add value to your existing interferometer, we have selected f-numbers to fill in the gaps of what other manufacturers supply. In addition, we have employed an innovative design strategy to extend the reference surface radii, thereby increasing the maximum convex radius which may be tested. Please take a look at our “Transmission Sphere” page.

New in 2011
Watch for Kreischer Optics's 2 newest machines to be displayed at the Optifab conference in Rochester, NY (May 10-12, 2011). Our PRO 80 U Ultra-form finishing (UFF) from OptiPro: Once again, Kreischer Optics is the first in the world to incorporate OptiPro's newest aspheric polishing system. We are also getting the Centromatic C-Z SL Centering Machine from Satisloh to extend our high precision, full CNC centering capability to over 200mm diameter and to increase our capacity for mid-sized lenses.
Growing Family
Kreischer Optics has added another member of the family to keep up with demand for glass precision lenses in the quality you expect. Welcome, Tristan Kreischer! The name is familiar, as his grandfather, Emil Kreischer, began the company in 1948, and his father, Cody Kreischer, is the current CEO and owner of Kreischer Optics. Tristan is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, with a degree in Physics.

Also new to the family is Roger Consdorf. He is the son of one of our master opticians who has been with us for many years, and we are delighted to have Roger working in our aspheric polishing department. Formerly employed in banking, he holds a bachelor degree in finance from Houston University. We hope he finds that his new career in glass optics fits him as well as his father before him.
